In recent years, the growing relations between China and Israel in areas such as trade, investment, technology, and tourism exchange have marked a new geopolitical trend in the West Asia region. The importance of this issue stems from the inherent hostility between Iran and Israel, alongside China's pivotal role in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The continuation and expansion of this relationship could pose a significant threat to Iran's geopolitical position in West Asia. The primary objective of this article is to explore the trends influencing the future of political-economic relations between China and Israel. The findings indicate that three key drivers—"the future of U.S.-China relations," "the future of China's relations with West Asian countries," and "the future of China's economic relations with Israel"—serve as fundamental bases for analyzing the future trajectory of China-Israel relations. It is likely that any substantial shift in these drivers will result in significant changes in their relationship. Accordingly, macro trends such as strengthened U.S.-China relations, weakened ties between China and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Palestinian territories, and increased economic relations between China and Israel are pivotal factors contributing to the expansion of China-Israel relations. This study employs trend analysis as one of the primary methodologies in futures studies.
