In the era of globalization, global health is influenced by health, environmental, political, and security factors. Armed conflicts, such as the war in Ukraine, clearly demonstrate how security crises can destroy health infrastructure, disrupt access to services, and affect the mental and physical health of societies. This inseparable link between security and health requires a systematic analysis of the macro-trends governing global health. The objective is to provide a comprehensive analysis of global macro-trends in the health sector, with an emphasis on the context of security challenges. This is essential for better understanding the mutual impacts of these areas, identifying future challenges, and formulating integrated policies and solutions. This research is descriptive-analytical and based on trend research—as one of the foundational methods in futures studies—which extracts and analyzes macro-trends by reviewing and qualitatively-quantitatively analyzing credible international documents and sources (from organizations such as WHO, the World Bank, OECD, and reputable scientific centers). The identified macro-trends fall into five main categories: 1)Global health security (integration of advanced technologies, One Health approach, global cooperation), 2)Transformation of health systems (shift toward outpatient care, rising costs, integration of technology in education), 3)Public health (advancements in data analysis, efforts for vaccination equity, innovation in vaccine production), 4)Technology and innovation (artificial intelligence, telemedicine, digital therapies), and 5)War and health (severe disruption of health services, health challenges of refugees, resurgence of infectious diseases). These findings emphasize the dual nature of challenges (threats from conflicts versus opportunities from technology) and the necessity of an integrated approach.
