This research aims to investigate the role and function of home-based religious gatherings, known as home-based religious gatherings, in the future-oriented religious education of Iranian families. It identifies the challenges facing this religious tradition as it navigates ongoing societal transformations. home-based religious gatherings serves as a vital platform for transmitting religious values and strengthening cultural and religious identity within Iranian society. Therefore, this research seeks to answer a critical question: How can the educational and social significance of home-based religious gatherings be preserved and even enhanced for future generations? The study emphasizes the importance of maintaining cultural authenticity while effectively integrating modern innovations into these gatherings. To deeply analyze the multifaceted factors influencing the function of home-based religious gatherings, the researchers employed the Causal Layered Analysis (CLA) method. This rigorous approach involved a comprehensive review of relevant documents and insightful interviews with subject matter experts. As a result of this analysis, five possible scenarios were developed, each depicting a distinct potential future for home-based religious gatherings. The findings, categorized within the four layers of CLA, illuminate various key factors. These include decreased participation and economic challenges, shifts in family structure, the growing influence of technology, evolving economic priorities,changing cultural and social discourse and some of the beliefs. Finally, the study offers practical, actionable suggestions that promote the integration of modern innovations while upholding the essential cultural authenticity of home-based religious gatherings.This integration, the research argues, is crucial to ensuring that home-based religious gatherings continues to thrive as a significant institution.
