This study provides a systematic review of articles related to "Driver Analysis" to offer an overview of this method. As "Driver Analysis" is a key research method in futures studies, researchers unfamiliar with this field often encounter shortcomings in its application, leading to less effective research outcomes. The primary question explored is the extent to which articles on "Driver Analysis" have adhered to a proper methodological framework and what recommendations they offer. Using the "Driver Analysis" method, 30 articles were collected, of which 17 Persian and English articles were selected for review. Among the Persian articles, only two included prescriptions and scenarios, while the rest lacked these elements. In contrast, all the English articles provided prescriptions, though none included scenarios. Additionally, many of the reviewed articles highlighted components such as "trend creation" and "driver activation."
