The Second Step Statement of the Islamic Revolution, as a strategic document of the Islamic Republic of Iran, encompasses numerous explicit and implicit themes that reflect the intellectual framework of His Eminence Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, particularly in terms of foresight and future-oriented thinking. This research aims to provide an adaptive-analogical analysis of the statement within the framework of well-established foresight models to achieve a deeper understanding, operational application of its strategic themes, and enhanced communication between professional futurists and the future-oriented layers of the Supreme Leader's vision embedded in the document. To identify the statement's strategic and foresight implications, the six-step strategic foresight model of the Association of Professional Futurists was employed. The content of the statement was analyzed using a content analysis method aligned with the six fundamental steps of the model: framing, scanning, forecasting, visioning, planning, and acting. Through adaptive content analysis, the study sought to extract and reinterpret the foresight-related themes and implications in the Second Step Statement based on the Hines-Bishop six-step strategic foresight model. By coding 267 categories identified in the statement's text, the analysis revealed 43 codes related to framing, 126 to scanning, 34 to forecasting, 27 to visioning, 12 to planning, and 25 to acting, each corresponding to the relevant categories and steps of the model.
