The origin, dynamism, and avoidance of stagnation in any civilization depend on a flow (material or spiritual) around which it develops. In the modern view, what creates and advances civilization and human history is the focus on materialism, which gradually, through human innovation and cultural creativity emerging from nature, instinct, and human heritage, creates its own spiritual, intellectual, and cultural components. Ultimately, these immaterial structures form the essence and framework of civilization. However, from a religious perspective, first, the beginning of history is marked by a divine flow, and the history ends with the perfect human; secondly, this flow has a central element called Sharia, which is the origin and driving force of civilization. Sharia refers to a divine flow set by God for the prophets or communities, manifested through a set of rules, beliefs, and laws. Thus, Sharia in this context is not merely a set of legal rulings or fiqh laws but, in its broader sense, also encompasses the realm of reality and natural laws, including tools and technologies. This situation directs the quality of human interaction with the real world. The dynamic, historical nature of legislation, suited to each prophet and community, indicates that this goal is gradual and historical, with different Sharias tasked with achieving parts of this objective. Given the finality of prophethood, the Muhammadiyah Sharia (PBUH) represents the last phase of this realization, and the promise of establishing religion will occur within this Sharia.
