Given the importance of access to medicine in determining the health status of a country, analyzing the current situation along with ongoing and future trends plays a significant role in national strategic decisions and planning. The method used in this article is trend research, chosen to identify trends and prepare the groundwork for scenario writing and enabling other researchers to achieve a desirable and probable future. The findings of this study include global technological trends, significant global events, key actions taken in the pharmaceutical field, and the drivers in pharmaceutical technology. At the beginning of the article, concepts related to trend research are discussed as part of the theoretical foundations, followed by a review of previous research in the field of pharmaceuticals. Finally, the findings are presented in the form of trends, events, significant actions, and drivers in this area to facilitate further research aimed at realizing a desirable future. This research has been compiled based on up-to-date global information and trends, and it offers recommendations tailored to the current situation of our country. Considering the rapid pace of technological advancement, the world today is seeking optimal use of technology to enhance societal well-being. It is hoped that, with the attention of relevant authorities, the groundwork will be laid to improve the country's food security by enhancing public access to pharmaceuticals through leveraging technological advancements.
