The validity of these two methods is based on certain rational, textual, and theological principles. Firstly, many verses and narrations identify the ultimate purpose of reflecting on the fate of past nations as a source of life lessons. Secondly, considering the unchanging divine traditions, the causes of these events can serve as models and be generalized to all times and places. That is, God has established laws and traditions since the time of past nations, which are not exclusive but rather universal principles applicable to all communities, from the past to the future. These laws predict the factors of growth and prosperity or decline and downfall of nations and communities. This depiction essentially consists of general propositions or laws about future events and their characteristics, derived from the conditions of past nations, forward-looking verses, and divine promises. It fundamentally differs from mere prediction or determinism. Ultimately, the inferred propositions collectively form different layers of this image, presenting an overall view of the envisioned future. تصویرسازی از آینده تمدنی در رویکرد جزئی‌نگر به دو صورت «مطالعه وضعیت و رفتار اقوام و امت‌های پیشین» و «بررسی وعده‌های الهی و اخباری که دلالت بر وضعیت آینده جوامع و آخرالزمان» انجام می‌پذیرد. حجیت این دو صورت مبتنی بر برخی مبانی نقلی، عقلی و کلامی است که مطابق آن اولا بسیاری از آیات و روایات غایت عبرت‌آموزی در زندگی را فلسفه رجوع به سرنوشت اقوام پیشین معرفی می‌کنند، ثانیا با توجه به سنت‌های لایتغیر الهی، علل این حوادث و وقایع قابل الگوبرداری و تعمیم به همه زمان‌ها و مکان‌ها هستند؛ یعنی خداوند سنت‌ها و قوانینی از زمان اقوام گذشته جاری ساخته است که هرگز جنبه اختصاصی نداشته و به صورت سلسله قوانینی درباره همه اقوام از گذشته تا آینده قابل تعمیم است که بر اساس آن، عوامل رشد و سعادت یا انحطاط و زوال امت‌ها و اقوام در آن پیش‌بینی شده است. این تصویر در حقیقت گزاره‌ها یا قوانین کلی در مورد حوادث و ویژگی‌های امور آینده است که با الهام از وضعیت اقوام پیشین، آیات آینده‌نگرانه و وعده‌های الهی به‌دست آمده‌اند و تفاوت ماهوی با مسئله پیش‌گویی و محتوم‌انگاری دارند. در نهایت گزاره‌های استنباط شده، هر کدام در نسبت با یکدیگر لایه‌های مختلف این تصویر را پدید می‌آورند و نمایی کلی از آن به دست می‌دهند. https://jsfs.sndu.ac.ir/article_3037_52e41bfcc2f4de8c06ffb5d4f2883dc6.pdf
